About

It seems like only yesterday Boyd was diagnosed with “ghost foot.” Not an actual medical term, it aptly describes his general lack of sensation in one of his feet. To alleviate things, he underwent a gruesome back surgery. As he recovered, he vowed to finally get around to recording some songs he’d written.

Enlisting the help of his brother Grant, he recorded a tune, which led to another and another. Before you know it (and by that I mean more than a year later) the two had recorded an entire album’s worth of songs.

They decided to release the album and needed a name for the "band."

Surprisingly, “Ghost Foot” was already taken by some hicks. So they landed on their second choice, “Louise Louise.” There’s a great story there, too, but we’ll save that for another day.

Three albums later, we hope you enjoy the songs.

"Amazing. Astonishing. Groundbreaking."
